Maaco Auto Body Shop & Painting

Matt, the owner of Maaco in Mount Vernon, Westchester County, New York, exudes professionalism. He treated me professionally as a customer every step of the way in the process of painting my 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis 2-Door LS. Because I had also arranged during the time-period the shop had custody of my vehicle to replace the vinyl portion of the landau top with a new vinyl top, he had the vehicle delivered to the shop that specializes in convertible tops. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Maaco to family, friends and co-workers.

I’m gonna start my review with I was robbed of $500 on top of additional payments I made for my vehicles repair. These people are liars and scammers to be honest, The owner Matt doesn’t like to take accountability or responsibility for nothing weather he was there or not.at the end of the day business was done in your place of business. I paid this shop to do repairs on my vehicle multiple times and never corrected the paint errors and mistakes and they put a Lien on my vehicle now I can’t register or get a new title for my vehicle because the shop had put a lien on the car and I paid them for the lien and have yet to do the paperwork to give me back my ownership of my vehicle. I call them to see if they retrieved my paperwork yet and maria constantly lies saying nothing came in the mail, That she will call me and let me know if anything came and her or Matt will give me a call when it arrives and it has been now several months. All Matt says it we don’t do that here and doesn’t help or do anything so no I’m in total loss of a vehicle trusting this shop after doing business with them for 3 years new lazy workers and no trust is gone. I will be taking this matter further

Very little attention to detail. Numerous paint "runs" Missed painting trunk. Returned vehicle back for completion. Staff didn't put rubber back on trunk or hood liner. Discovered parts hidden in trunk. Contacted business to let owner know. Call wasn't returned.

When I tell you they do OUTSTANDING & AFFORDABLE body work. This is an incredible team! I scratched my car on my garage the 2nd day I had it they quoted me at about 75% less than competitors. It looks like it never even had a scratch on it THANK YOU SO MUCH UPDATE: so I became a victim of an unfortunate circumstance where someone backed into my car and I had to get it fixed again and once again this team is incredible. They did amazing work. My car looks brand new even though my insurance company was a pain in the butt they were patient kind understanding they worked with me. It almost feels like I have a brand new car again and I am so happy Matt is literally the best ever. No one else is allowed to ever touch my car when it comes to bodywork and repair. Maaco Mount Vernon is the best.

10/10 service, any little thing I ask for gets done with precision. My car got into a small collision and was fixed for cheap with way more than what I could’ve asked for. Any little imperfections they have fixed and given no problems with great customer service. Not to mention my entire care used to be silver but here it is today painted black fully by them. Very reliable and recommended and shoutout to Devin the manager who Always there to help me
